Kroger is lobbying the federal government on hemp, reports Cannabis Wire. According to the grocer’s quarter four disclosures, it is lobbying on, “issues related to the regulation of topical products containing CBD oils and hemp derived products following the implementation of the 2018 Farm Bill.”
Kroger added hemp-derived CBD products on shelves in more than a dozen states in 2019 and will be the first grocer to lobby the government on the issue. Full Story
