Hy-Vee may be reducing its staff, reports Progressive Grocer. As part of its Helpful Smile 2020 initiative, some employees will be promoted, some will be moved to other locations, and some positions could be reduced. In addition, to strengthen its dietitian program, the retailer will reassign 30 of its in-store dietitians to the corporate team to support health and wellness efforts across the company.
In a statement to Progressive Grocer, Tina Pothoff, Hy-Vee’s senior VP of communications said, “Our industry is continually evolving, which is why it’s imperative that we evolve with it.” Full Story
