A recent report from consulting firm Daymon revealed that more than half of consumers are loyal to a specific store due to its private label brands, according to Food Dive. Private brand sales grew 4 percent in 2018, with 20 percent of that growth coming from products that are branded premium, trendy, or organic.
Forty-one percent of customers noted that they would like to see more better-for-you products, and 44 percent want more unique attributes for private label products.
