Bomani is set to launch Cold Buzz, an alcohol-infused cold brew coffee. The beverage is made with sugar-fermented alcohol, which is often used in hard seltzers. Bomani Cold Buzz reportedly contains aromas of caramel, chocolate, and toasted nuts. The company worked with coffee and alcohol industry veterans to ensure the final formula met strict flavor standards.
"We realized a lot of people added caffeinated chasers to their alcoholic beverages. That's when we decided consumers deserve a convenient, healthy alternative to high-calorie espresso martinis or shots chased with synthetic energy drinks," says Amin Anjedani, co-founder and chief of product and design.
The company selected New Jersey for the launch because of its dense population and high propensity for alcohol and caffeine consumption. The plan is to expand into New England next and then move westward. Bomani's goal is to have the beverage sold at a full range of retail establishments, including liquor stores, grocery stores, bars, and restaurants.
