Harry's Fresh Foods will close its facility in Nashville, reports Nashville Business Journal. The maker of refrigerated and frozen soups, dinners, sides, and desserts has notified the state that it will be cutting all 135 jobs at the site. The company is required to repay $950,000 of a state grant it received.
Harry's Fresh Foods began leasing the facility in 2016, pledging to invest $34.3 million. At the time, Harry's CEO Jamie Colbourne said, "Having a 200,000-square-foot facility east of the Rocky Mountains improves efficiency and available delivered shelf life on the company's fresh, natural, and organic products."
