Daring Foods is partnering with Sprouts Farmers Market to bring its plant-based chicken to retail. Daring’s 10-ounce pouches of plant-based chicken pieces will be available for $9.99 at more than 340 Sprouts Farmers Market locations across the U.S. This will be the first non-breaded, plant-based chicken alternative to be introduced at the retailer.
Purely Elizabeth has introduced three new pancake mixes to the market. The Ancient Grain Pancake Mix is made with a blend of nutrient-rich flours and seeds, including organic teff flour; the Grain-Free Pancake Mix is made with alternative flours like almond and coconut; and the Grain-Free Protein Pancake Mix with Collagen is contains grass-fed collagen.
Applegate has added a new product line, Well Carved, to its portfolio. The line includes chef-crafted burgers and meatballs that combine meat with whole, organic vegetables, legumes, and grains. The products will debut in stores beginning April 2020.
