7-Eleven has launched a second quick service restaurant concept in Manhattan, within one of its Evolution stores, reports Food Business News. The first was Laredo Taco Company, which launched in Dallas in March 2019.
The restaurant, Raise the Roost Chicken & Biscuits, is a Southern-inspired restaurant that features fried chicken tenders, wings, and chicken sandwiches with signature sauces. “On the go customers are looking for high quality, differentiated food options,” said Joe DePinto, chief executive officer at 7-Eleven. “7-Eleven continues to explore new concepts that meet that demand.” Full Story
