Walmart and grocery delivery partner Skipcart are parting ways, reports Bloomberg. Skipcart notified Walmart on January 31 that it was terminating the relationship effective April 30, according to a letter obtained by Bloomberg. However, the end date has been pushed up to March and Walmart has already secured other providers to cover stores serviced by Skipcart.
Skipkart CEO Ben Jones says that his company was losing money despite making 50,000 Walmart deliveries a month and would rather focus on restaurant deliveries which are easier and more profitable. Walmart declined to comment. Full Story
