A new report by Packaged Facts reveals that grocers can attract affluent food shopper using four key strategies, reports Progressive Grocer. Affluent shoppers are defined as people with household incomes of more than $150,000 or more per year.
According to the research, grocers should reflect the values of the natural channel; carry a wide range of organic fresh, refrigerated, and frozen foods; give affluent food shoppers more of the center store products they want; and take steps to improve foodservice options. Full Story
