Nineteen companies selling food and other products have joined together to create One Planet Business for Biodiversity at the United Nations Climate Action Summit, reports Food Dive. The purpose is to protect and restore biodiversity within supply chains and product portfolios.
Member companies include Barry Callebaut, Danone, Kellogg, Mars Wrigley, and McCain Foods. The group has agreed to take tangible steps to scale up regenerative agriculture practices, boost cultivated biodiversity and resilience in products, eliminate deforestations, and transparently report on progress and impact.
