San Francisco will be the next city to begin selling Burger King’s Impossible Whopper, reports Food & Wine. San Francisco marks the fifth city in the U.S. to adopt the plant-based burger, after St. Louis, Mo., Miami, Columbus, Ga., and Montgomery, Ala.
Initially, Burger King planned on a nationwide rollout, but Impossible Foods’ inability to keep up with demand has slowed the plan down. “We are absolutely doing everything we possibly can” to keep the Burger King rollout moving, Impossible CEO Pat Brown told CNN Business Reports. Full Story
