A new report published by Food Tech Connect has revealed that one-third of total funding in the U.S. food and beverage sector went to dairy and meat alternative products, reports Forbes. CBD-infused products, keto-friendly products, and salty snacks also saw a lot of investment dollars.
The report also noted an increasing amount CPG companies launching their own VC arms, like Coke’s Venture Emerging Brands, WeWork’s Food Labs, and Wrigley’s Seeds of Change Accelerator. Full Story
