Serendipity 3's famous Frrrozen Hot Chocolate will soon be available as ice cream sold at 7-Eleven, reports the NY Daily News. The shop will sell pints of the hot chocolate flavored ice cream with whipped cream swirl and chocolate shavings at locations in New York in November, launching nationwide in January. Frrrozen Hot Chocolate is one of eight new ice cream flavors inspired by Serendipity's signature sundaes. Other varieties include Strawberry Fields Sundae, Forbidden Broadway Sunday, Outrageous Banana Split, Cafe Espresso Chip, and Birthday Cake.
This is the first time in the shop's 65-year history that it is offering a line of ice cream. Serendipity is known for its whimsical decor and over-the-top treats, drawing celebrities from Marilyn Monroe to Beyoncé. The Frrrozen Hot Chocolate has been on the menu from the start and 25 million have been sold since the store's opening in 1954, according to the report. Full Story
