Baristas Coffee Co. is in talks with a select number of legal cannabis companies, exploring the potential of including marijuana derivatives as part of its new EnrichaRoast brand of coffee-based beverages. The company claims the products may slow the growth of cancer cells, prevent Alzheimer's, treat glaucoma, relieve arthritis, decrease anxiety, and other effects.
Barry Henthorn, CEO, notes, "We have been inundated with inquires for distribution, manufacturing, and other business opportunities surrounding our new "EnrichaRoast" infused coffee beverages. In order to provide clarity, we are confirming that we are in fact in discussions with a few companies that have ventured into the legal cannabis coffee space. Baristas is in discussions with these companies as to the possibility of using cannabis derivatives such as CBD, or others, in states where they are legal. As to exactly which company we will move forward with, where, and on what basis, if at all, is part of the discussions."
