UberEats Plans to Cover 70% of US

UberEats will roll out its restaurant delivery service to new cities to cover 70 percent of the U.S. population by the end of 2018, doubling its U.S. city count in 2017. As part of this rollout, the company has launched a self-signup tool so restaurants can upload their menus, get set up, and start doing deliveries more quickly.

UberEats is beginning to launch in markets where ride-sharing is smaller, including some new U.S. suburban markets and smaller towns. In 2018, 40 percent of new UberEats users were brand new to Uber, and in September 2018, order volume increased by 10 times compared to two years prior.
