The Hendrick's Gin Palace is Unveiled

William Grant & Sons has invested nearly $17 million giving Hendrick's Gin a new distilling home that the company says is befitting of its liquor. The Hendrick's Gin Palace located in Scotland doubles the brand's capacity to meet demand. With two additional stills, Hendrick's now has a total of six. The property has a walled garden, and two botanical hot houses used to cultivate botanicals and flora from around the world. There is a laboratory with a flavour library, a lecture theatre for scholarly learnings, and a bar. In addition to serving as a distillery, the facility is designed to give the master distiller, Lesley Gracie, an environment that affords creative freedom to experiment and conceive new Hendrick's variants.

"The Hendrick's Gin Palace in its design and experience, is intended to inspire curiosity, open minds, and serve as a platform for invention," says Pamela Selby, the global brand director for Hendrick's. "I'm thrilled and excited to take full advantage of our wonderful new distillery and begin working on a line of experimental liquids, some of which will hopefully blossom into future releases and potential new expressions of Hendrick's," adds Gracie.
