Food incubator Hope & Main will host a live broadcast tonight at 5:30 p.m. EST where five food and beverage companies will compete for $10,000 in prize money and coaching, to become Rhode Island’s first champion in the Sam Adams Brewing the American Dream Pitch Room Competition.
Sam Adams Brewing the American Dream supports local food and beverage entrepreneurs across the U.S. with access to capital, networks, and business coaching.
"We are proud to host the Pitch Room Competition," said Lisa Raiola, Hope & Main’s founder, in a statement. "It is a little bit like Shark Tank meets Chopped in Rhode Island. It is such a great opportuniy for exposure for food-prenuers throughout the Ocean State. The event will bring high visibility to Rhode Island's vibrant, growing, and diverse food economy powered by small businesses."

Debbie Wood, We Be Jammin'
Sam Chesebrough, Pickily
Aura Fajardo, Aura's Chocolate Bar
The competition will be part of a live, interactive broadcast where viewers will be invited to cast their vote. The winner will receive business coaching and an $8,000 prize from. Sam Adams. Two runners up will receive $1,000 each.
