Almost three quarters of Americans are determined to make this holiday season as special as they can, according to a new survey by OnePoll on behalf of BJ’s Wholesale Club, reports Progressive Grocer. The survey also found that 60 percent of respondents have specifically been saving up to make the holidays exceptional this year. In addition, 60 percent expect to receive more “creative” gifts than ever before.
In addition, the average American will be buying gifts for nine people this holiday season. Almost half (44 percent) plan to buy online and pick-up in-store and 29 percent plan to use curbside pick-up for their holiday shopping. Full Story
