Lidl will continue with the opening of its newest store in Cary, N.C. on April 29, reports Progressive Grocer. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the opening won’t happen with the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The new store will have special shopping hours for senior citizens and at risk customers, as well as a limit of no more than five customers per 1,000 square feet, protective barriers at checkout lanes, and other protective measures. Full Story
