Sprouts Farmers Market has hired Gilliam Phipps as the company’s SVP and chief marketing officer. Phipps will report to Sprouts’ chief executive officer Jack Sinclair and will oversee Sprouts’ marketing, advertising, customer engagement, and private label teams.
“We’re extremely pleased to welcome Gil to the Sprouts team,” said Sinclair in a statement. “The experience Gil brings will be instrumental in shaping Sprouts’ long-term strategy to build brand awareness and loyalty with our core shopper, including strengthening and defining our private label business.”
Panos Brands, maker of shelf-stable and perishable specialty food brands, has named Darcy Zbinovec CEO. Zbinovec has over 20 years experience in the CPG industry, and, prior to joining Panos, served as CEO for Ehrmann Commonwealth Dairy.
“Darcy’s experience implementing a culture of innovation in a wide variety of food businesses as well as managing multiple transformations will be an immediate asset for the Panos brand,” said Mike Foisy, chairman of Panos' board of directors and lead perations partner for HKW, Inc., which acquired Panos in 2016. “The Board is confident Panos will benefit from Darcy’s proven CPG track record and commitment to fostering growth.”
