More than Half of Americans Purchased Coronavirus Supplies

Sixty-three percent of Americans purchased supplies related to the coronavirus outbreak, spending an average of $178.44, according to research by LendingTree. Supplies included food, alcohol, and medication; the most popular purchases were cleaning products, food, and paper products.

Parents of children under 18 spent $189.80 on supplies, and high earners (those who make $100,000 a year or more) spent an average of $219.90 on supplies.
