The CPG manufacturing industry will continue on despite the coronavirus pandemic, according to the Consumer Brands Association, reports Food Dive. Geoff Freeman, president and CEO of the CBA said that some of the associations members have seen their orders increase by 700 percent as consumer stock up for self- and mandated quarantines.

Freeman also said that federal food and beverage regulations already mandate some of the policies to prevent virus transmission and because most modernized factories have more automation and equipment, the industry is already geared towards worker health. Full Story
