A San Francisco Amazon Go location is planning to sell hot food and espresso in the coming months, according to an email that the company sent to customers last week, reports The San Francisco Chronicle. The store is currently closed for renovations and will be reopening this spring with new features and flavors, according to the email.
The sale of hot food, fountain sodas, and espresso require additional approvals from the city. Permit records show the company filed for a Department of Health review on January 21. Amazon did not return The San Francisco Chronicle’s requests for comment. Full Story
