Health-conscious dining preferences ruled 2019, according to OpenTable’s 2019 dining data. According to a report, ‘keto’ was mentioned 683 percent more in reviews and ‘plant-based’ mentions increased by 136 percent.
Global cuisines also rose in popularity; with ‘queso’ mentions increasing by 31 percent and ‘nachos’ increasing by 19 percent. Mentions of potstickers and cacio e pepe also increased.
