GrubMarket has acquired Doorganics, an online farm-to-table delivery service in Michigan that specializes in local and organic fruits, vegetables, dairy, pastured proteins, artisan breads, and more. This acquisition will allow Doorganics to leverage GrubMarket’s e-commerce network and supply chain capabilities to offer its offerings to even more cities across the Midwest.
"GrubMarket believes in the importance of supporting local farmers and producers, while recognizing the essential role that technology can play in food e-commerce,” said Doorganics’ founder Mike Hughes in a statement. “We look forward to working with the GrubMarket Team to further enhance and expand our service across the Midwest."
