Publix was the sole grocery retailer to make the top ten on Newsweek’s list of America’s Best Customer Service 2020. Wegmans, Trader Joe’s, Costco, Meijer and BJ’s were also recognized with scores of 8.24 (out of 10) and above.
“Some companies are particularly good at nurturing their relationships with customers,” said Nancy Cooper, global editor-in-chief in her introduction to the list. “And even as more and more retail jobs become automated, treating consumers well is still a key factor in business success.”
