Lyft’s Grocery Access Program has now launched in Pittsburgh, reports Winsight Grocery Business. The program helps people within the city limits of Pittsburgh to affordably get to the grocery store for a flat rate of $2.50. The program was originally launched in Washington D.C. last year.
“It can be a big challenge to transport frozen goods or lots of groceries using public transportation. The Grocery Access Program allows people to get exactly what they need, when they need it. We’re excited to be part of the solution,” says Josh Huber, Lyft’s Pittsburgh general manager. Full Story
