KKR, a New York-based private equity firm, has reportedly agreed to purchase Campbell’s international business, which includes Arnott’s biscuits, for $2.2 billion, reports Forbes. KKR beat Australian rival Pacific Equity Partners in an auction that stretched over the last year.
Arnott’s is the biggest brand in Campbell’s international portfolio, raking in $737 million in annual revenue and producing brands like Tim Tams, Mint Slice, and Shapes. Full Story
