Most Consumers Don't Subscribe to Mail-Order Meal Kits

Ninety-three percent of consumers don't subscribe to any mail-order meal kit service, and 23 percent once subscribed to meal kits but no longer do, according to a survey by Good Eggs. When it comes to meal kits that serve four people, 51 percent only want to spend $15 to $20 for the meal, and 65 percent say they are only willing to spend 30 minutes or less preparing the meal.

Pasta was the most popular meal type among those surveyed with 46 percent saying it was number one. Tacos (45 percent), chicken (41 percent), pizza (40 percent), and burgers (35 percent) all followed.
