The James Beard Foundation has announced the fellows for its 2019 Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Program, reports Food & Wine. Founded in 2017, the program is designed to support female restaurant owners and food entrepreneurs.
Among the 2019 fellows are Mary Aregoni, Saigon Sisters, Chicago, IL; Sonya Cote, Eden East, Hillside Farmacy, Austin, TX; Jocelyn Guest, J&E Small Goods, New York, NY; and Trish Rothgeb, Wrecking Ball Coffee Roasters, San Francisco, CA.
Alums include Kelly Fields from Willa Jean in New Orleans, and Emily Blount from Oxford, Mississippi’s Saint Leo Restaurant, named a 2019 semifinalist for the James Beard Outstanding Bar Program. Full Story
