Organic Quick-Service Chain Closes All Locations

Chicago's first organic fast food chain has closed all three locations, reports Eater. When the first location of Nic's Organic Fast Food opened in February 2017, founder Benjamin Brittsan planned to open 50 locations in three years, and in October 2018, aimed to open 75 restaurants by 2020 in major markets including New York, Southern California, South Florida. Brittsan now says he is focused on West Coast expansion.

The restaurant served burgers, fried and grilled chicken sandwiches and salads as well as breakfast sandwiches with fresh-squeezed orange juices and organic coffees. The restaurant's products were certified organic by Quality Assurance International and its organic beverages were sourced from Tractor Soda Co. Full Story
