Michelin has released a new guide for the coastal Tokai region of Japan, reports Eater. In the guide, Michelin grants stars to 67 restaurants in Japan's Aichi, Gifu, and Mie prefectures. The country also has Michelin-star restaurants in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka.
Sushi Ueda and Hijikata, both in Nagoya in Aichi Prefecture, and Komada, a sushi restaurant in the seaside city of Ise in Mie Prefecture, were awarded three stars, the highest rating. Fourteen restaurants received two stars, while 51 restaurants ranked among the one-star section. Full Story
