Gray Wolf Craft Distilling Introduces American Agave Spirit

Gray Wolf Craft Distilling is set to release Lobo, a handcrafted 87-proof American Agave spirit. The company says it adds to the diversity of the expanding Maryland craft spirit industry.

Lobo, which was a year in the making, is distilled from 100 percent organic blue agave nectar and finished on charred french oak to enhance the appearance, aroma, and flavor. It’s described as having a bouquet of maple, vanilla, and butterscotch on the nose, followed by notes of vanilla, agave, and honey caramel. Then, it finishes with a hint of smoky spice.

Lobo will be available for sale May 4.
