Stryve Biltong has closed a $16.5 million Series B investment. The company plans to use the funding to increase its marketing efforts and drive its continued investment in talent and operations. The round was led by Meaningful Partners, Pendyne Capital, and Murano Group.
Stryve Biltong was founded to provide a convenient snack that has zero grams of sugar, clean ingredients, and no additives, as well as high levels of protein. Since its 2017 launch, the brand has seen rapid growth in retail distribution and its online business, according to the company. In March, Jaxie Alt, an 18-year CPG veteran from Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, joined the company as CMO.
