Soylent Nutrition Inc. has expanded into the growing nutrition bar category with 100-calorie mini-meal bars called Soylent Squared. Each bar is made with 5 grams of plant protein, 36 nutrients and probiotics for digestive health, and is sold in three flavors.
According to Solyent CEO Bryan Crowley, many nutrition bars currently on the market are high in sugar, use less sustainable animal-derived protein, and often lack nutrients that the body needs to thrive. Soylent Square was developed to allow customers to portion out the nutrition they need, so they can enjoy one or two bars for a healthy snack or three to four bars for a complete meal.
The launch of Solyent Squared closely follows the brand's January launch of its 11-ounce Soylent Bridge, a ready-to-drink in-between meal beverage.
