Starbucks plans to revamp its rewards program, according to people familiar with the matter, reports Travel + Leisure. Changes include requiring more stars to receive a beverage or sandwich reward.
Twenty-five stars will provide extra modifications for a drink, like an espresso shot, up to $1. Fifty stars will translate to a free hot tea, hot coffee, or bakery item, while 150 stars will be worth a handcrafted beverage or breakfast sandwich. Two hundred stars will be eligible for lunch sandwiches, salads, and protein boxes, while 400 stars will result in a trade-in for packaged coffee or a single merchandise item up to $20. Full Story
