Kosher grocery chain Seasons is remodeling locations under its new ownership, the Bistritzky family, reports Newsday. The Bistritzky family purchased the chain in late 2018 from Zvi Bloom and Mayer Gold, though the purchase price was private. The Bistritzky family has years of experience with kosher food manufacturing and distribution, according to Joseph Bistritzky, chairman of the board of Seasons and chief executive of Brooklyn-based food services company Maramont Corp.
Plans include widening aisles, expanding produce sections, car valet services, new appliances, and new kitchens for on-site cooking. The store in Scarsdale, N.Y., relocated to a larger location in the same shopping center and renovations are ongoing at five other stores. Full Story
