Charm School Chocolate, a company that specializes in vegan and non-dairy treats, has opened a new chocolate factory and tasting room in Hunt Valley, Md., reports The Baltimore Sun. Founded in 2012, Charm Chocolate School products have been on store shelves for years, but the facility marks a new chapter for the company.
All Charm School Chocolate's products contain no dairy, as well as no soy, lactose, or gelatin, and are made without high-fructose corn syrup or refined sugar. The cocoa beans are sourced globally and then roasted, ground, and hand-crafted from scratch. At the new facility, customers can visit and enjoy a growing list of chocolates, confections, specialty sweets, hot chocolates, and baked goods exclusive to the retail store.
Charm Chocolate City founder Joshua Rosen says Hunt Valley was an ideal location to open a factory and shop, given the area's robust food and beverage scene and growing reputation as a manufacturing hub. Full Story
