Just Inc. has signed a distribution agreement with Germany poultry company PHW Group to accelerate the distribution of Just Egg in Europe, reports WATTAgnet.com. The deal follows a previous agreement reached between Just and Eurovo Group. As part of the two deals, Eurovo will manufacture the egg substitute product in Europe, and both PHW and Eurovo will sell and distribute the product to retailers and foodservice providers.
Just Egg is a mung bean-based product that cooks and tastes like traditional eggs and offers a similar amount of protein, according to the company. The product is free of saturated fat, cholesterol, and artificial flavoring. The first Just Egg products are expected to be available in Europe in the fourth quarter of 2019, subject to European approval. Full Story
