FitJoy to Transition to a Grain-Free Company

FitJoy has launched grain-free pretzels, a product that's reportedly an industry first. The pretzels are made with cassava and chickpea flour, baked, and then tossed in pink Himalayan sea salt. These pretzels are gluten-free, dairy-free, corn-free, soy-free and non-GMO. 

The grain-free pretzels are expected to launch in spring 2019. When that happens, FitJoy will transition into a completely grain-free company. Its portfolio already includes four varieties of gluten-free protein bars that come in two sizes and FitJoy plans to launch more products later in 2019.

"More and more people are trying to limit the amount of grain they consume, whether for digestive reasons, health issues, or because they're on a diet," says Scott Sturgill, head of innovation and product development at FitJoy."We want our customers to have fun and tasty options that would align with their diet."
