Customer Satisfaction with Retail Drops for Second Year

Customer satisfaction with retail is down for the second straight year, according to the American Customer Satisfaction Index. Satisfaction with supermarkets sank 1.3 percent to an ACSI score of 78, but two companies made strides: Trader Joe's and Wegmans. Trader Joe's rose 1 percent to 86, making it number one among not just supermarkets but all retailers, while Wegmans' 1 percent improvement gave it an ACSI score of 85.

Suprisingly, Costco ranked higher than Amazon for internet sales, with an ACSI score of 83. Amazon dropped 4 percent to an ACSI score of 82.
