GrubMarket has acquired Chasin Foods, a wholesale distributor of produce, dairy, meats, seafood, and provisions. The company serves businesses across Southern California, including manufacturers, schools, restaurants, and institutional accounts.
The deal is expected to be mutually beneficial. GrubMarket will leverage Chasin's expertise to support and grow its produce supply chain capabilities. Meanwhile, Chasin will be able to leverage GrubMarket's produce supply chain network to expand its offerings to a variety of customers.
Chasin's headquarters will remain in Southern California and the company will continue to be led by its current leadership team.
