San Francisco Mac and Cheese Chain to Implement Automated Ordering

San Francisco-based mac and cheese chain Mac'd will implement Eatsa's automated ordering technology, reports The San Francisco Chronicle. Customers can expect self-serve ordering kiosks, digital menu boards, a mobile phone ordering app, and a digital status board that lets diners know when their food is ready for pick-up. The changes will first be implemented at the Mac'd shop on Polk Street.

This is not Eatsa's first partnership, in fall 2017 — after an aggressive expansion period, followed by the closing of almost all locations — the three-and-a-half-year-old company decided to switch from grain bowls to providing technology services to other restaurants.
