San Francisco-based Philz Coffee will open its first Chicago shop in 2019, reports Eater Chicago. The 2,100-square-foot space is located in the city's Wicker Park neighborhood and is anchored by a Target. The company says it plans to open more Chicago locations in the coming year.
Philz Coffee operates about 50 locations in San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Washington, D.C. The coffeeshop chain also has a location inside Facebook's headquarters in Silicon Valley. Full Story
