Smirnoff's No. 21 Vodka Gets Non-GMO Status

Smirnoff has switched to non-GMO corn to distill Smirnoff No.21, its base vodka. The change makes the liquor a non-GMO product, which the company believes is an attractive complement for No. 21's gluten-free status. Smirnoff No. 21 still has the same recipe and will still be 40 percent alcohol by volume.

Smirnoff made a significant investment in changing the distillation process, but given its commitment to affordability, it will not raise prices. It is changing the packaging of Smirnoff No. 21 to integrate sleek, bold, and modern characteristics that will help the bottle stand out more on shelves.
