PARCE, a small batch ultra-premium rum from Columbia, swept five categories at the 8th Annual New York World Wine & Spirits Competition, which drew 340 entrants. The brand's honors included "Best in Show Aged White Spirit" and "Best Rum." The brand also won double-gold medals for its eight-year and 12-year aged rums along with a gold medal for its new three-year rum.
PARCE is produced in in Armenia, Colombia, by master blenders Arthur and Brojen Fernandes Domecq, a father and son duo. PARCE CEO Jim Powers says the brand is seeing a rapidly growing fan base at home and throughout Latin America. Now that it signed a deal with importer Turquoise Life, it expects further growth in the U.S. as well.
