Log House Foods has acquired WholeMe, a maker of grain-free snacks, reports Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. WholeMe distributes its products through more than 2,000 stores across the U.S. while Log House sells its products in 40,000 stores and has a manufacturing facility in Bloomington, Minn. Both companies are based in Minnesota.
WholeMe previously raised capital through a Kickstarter campaign and private investors. It closed on a $1 million funding round about two years ago. It launched to create healthy snacks four years ago and now sells product such as WholeMe clusters, a line of grain-free snacks that come in flavors like cinnamon banana chip and salted peanut chocolate, according to the report.
