Baldor Specialty Foods has announced a strategic company restructuring plan. The plan will unify and simplify the organization, enhance business performance, improve the customer experience, and streamline the rollout of several key company initiatives. Baldor CEO TJ Murphy says the plan reflects the growth of Baldor over the last year. The growth required the company to start a 100,000 square-foot expansion of its headquarters in Bronx, N.Y. A new organization structure will go into effect immediately as the expansion is completed, and 350 jobs are expected to be created.
As part of the restructuring plan there have been several personnel changes and additions. Baldor President Michael Muzyk says with the new appointments, the company now has a solid management team to take it to the next level of growth.
